Energy Storage Industries- Asia Pacific’s new iron flow battery manufacturing plant, located in Maryborough, will manufacture and distribute iron flow batteries which play a crucial role in offering a safe, sustainable, and cost-effective solution for large-scale energy storage.

The project is testament to ESI’s significant investment in regional Queensland and is part of the Queensland Energy and Jobs plan.

Construction of this facility will lead to significant social and economic benefits to the Fraser Coast region, with this project part of a series of developments with the potential to provide 20 per cent of Australia’s renewable energy storage needs and the capacity to employ up to 500 highly-skilled workers across regional Queensland.
